Evening Opulence Collection by Gucci Westman brings together the dazzling palettes of rich purples, feminine violets and emeralds for the eyes, plums and fuchsias for the lips and graphites and matte sparkle for the nails.
“I pictured a luxurious and polished woman, who looks to makeup to accessorize and enhance her look using bursts of color,” said Westman of her collection inspiration. “She is sensual, sexy and smart; modern, yet a little over-the-top. She makes each look her own, and her style is timeless.
Holidays are all about smokey eyes, bold lips and lots and lots of sparkle and glitter and creating the perfect holiday look couldn’t be easier using a few of the stunning pieces from the Revlon Evening Opulence Collection.
To start, don’t be afraid to break away from the same old boring neutral smokey eye and have some fun with colour using the Revlon PhotoReady Primer, Shadow + Sparkle in Muse in deep shades of purple and bold violets. Use the bottom left shade on the entire eyelid up to the brow bone, it’s a sparkly light green/blue shade that acts as a built-in primer. Then take the lightest purple shade and apply it from the lash line to brow and then contour the eye by applying the darker shades of purple slightly above the crease and in the outer v. If you choose, you can apply a little of the bottom right shade, the deep green over top of the shadow or just under the brow for a little extra sparkle.
