There are some makeup brands that release such an amazing product, it’s an instant hit. It sellouts within seconds, it’s on the top of everyone’s wish-list and soon becomes an iconic item in everyone’s makeup collection. When Charlotte announced she was releasing a makeup collection inspired by her brand’s beloved lipstick, beauty lovers around the world went crazy. The collection immediately sold out during the launch, leaving broken hearts everywhere. Luckily for us, the ones who didn’t get their hands on it, the brand brought it back permanently at the beginning of the year.
Charlotte Tilbury is all about creating that Pillow Talk look, aka, the most beautiful version of yourself possible with this 4-piece collection. Of course, no makeup look is complete without a few other necessities, so today we’re creating a head-to-toe look using nothing but CT.
Frist up, the base with Charlotte Tilbury Brightening Youth Glow. I’m all about a luminous complexion, especially during the hot, sunny summer months. This incredibly creamy primer helps to not only create a brightening effect, but it also helps to improve redness and discolouration by controlling skin’s production of melanin. It blurs away breakouts and blemishes, conceals dark circles and evens out your skin’s complexion. Talk about a magical primer. Of course, it can be used on its own for a subtle glow, but my favourite way of applying it, is under my foundation. Its skin-loving ingredients help to plump up my skin and keep it moisturized the entire day. My skin is left soft and supple and ready for makeup. Although it doesn’t claim to prolong the wear time of my makeup, I’ve noticed it does an amazing job at adhering my foundation to my skin. It retails for $65.
Charlotte Tilbury Magic Foundation is like a miracle in a bottle thanks to its lightweight, yet full-coverage formula. It instantly helps to conceal all major imperfections, such as blemishes, redness, hyperpigmentation and other dark spots, all while looking and feeling totally natural. Not only does it even out skin tone with a demi-matte finish, it features an array of skin-loving ingredients to help with other skin concerns. Antioxidants help to create a youthful appearance, mushroom extracts help to tighten pores overtime, vitamin C helps deliver that “lit-from-within-glow” and hyaluronic acid helps plump up the skin and keep it hydrated.
