Finally a BB Cream for the fair skin ladies. Although Clarins BB Skin Perfecting Cream SPF 25 isn’t a new product, the shade 00 Fair is. It’s the new and permanent addition to the BB family and joins shade 01 Light and 03 Dark this season. It offers the same ultra- natural light coverage as the other 2 shades and features 3D Radiance pigments to help illuminate, smooth and even out skin’s texture, while minimizing imperfections and redness for a flawless complexion. Organic kiwi extract and Katafray bark extract boosts skin’s radiance, while keeping it hydrated and moisturized. It keeps skin protected against pollution and free radicals with its exclusive complex, while providing UVA/ UVB protection with its SPF 25 formula. 
Clarins BB Skin Perfecting Cream SPF 25 comes in a sleek red tube with a thin, almost watery, gel like texture. It has a lightweight, very silky and creamy consistency that absorbs into the skin to give a semi-matte finish to the skin. It offers a sheer coverage that’s buildable up to a medium coverage. It’s extremely hydrating, but not oily, making it the perfect cream for both normal, combination and dry skin. It has light reflecting pigments which brighten and create a lovely healthy glowing-from-within effect, without being over shimmery. It blends into the skin with ease, whether using a foundation brush or your fingers. It lasts throughout the day and well into the evening without fading or oxidizing. It has an incredible light and fresh scent that soon disappears after only a few minutes.

You can apply a second layer to conceal minor issues like redness, dark circles and small breakouts, without feeling weighted down. It provides a natural finish that isn’t too matte or dewy. I’m so happy that they came out with another shade, although I loved 01 Light, 00 Fair is a much better fit for my skin tone. Clarins Truly Waterproof Mascara gives the extra length, curl and separation I’m looking for in a good mascara. One coat is usually enough to give me a very light, natural, summertime day look, but is easily buildable for a more dramatic effect for night. It never looks clumpy or spider like and is truly black, without having any grey undertones, giving the appearance of a more dramatic look, yet still natural. I can honestly say it doesn’t budge once applied to the lashes, even in the heat or swimming, it stays puts. It does take a little elbow grease to remove, nothing a good eye makeup remover can’t solve. It retails for $27.
