Kiehl’s Rocks for Kids
What does one wear you a rock concert? Plaid and Leather of course. I’ve never really been a fan of rock music, I enjoyed some grunge music back in the day, but then again, who didn’t. I couldn’t get enough of Nivvana, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, STP and Smashing Pumpkins, but now you’ll catch me listening to hip hop, rap, r&b and a little pop. When Kiehl’s asked me to attend Kiehl’s Rocks for Kids, a special acoustic concert with Canadian rockers Simple Plan in support of the Simple Plan Foundation, I couldn’t say no. I was a little worried I wouldn’t know any songs, besides Summertime, and that’s only because my boy Sean Paul was in it, turns out I knew every song besides one. I love when celebrities use their status for the greater good, and the fact these talented boys are Canadian, make it even more special. Kiehl’s collaborated with Simple Plan on the Kiehl’s Rock for Kids charitable partnership to raise funds for the Simple Plan Foundation, helping children in need. Kiehl’s live-stream the concert online and $1 was donate to the foundation for each view and share.
