New Eucerin Skin Care Line

I’m sure we’re all familiar with Eucerin, the dermatologist-preferred skin care line that addresses concerns like dryness, irritated, red or blotchy skin and is also great for those with sensitive skin. All products are fragrance-free, oil-free, non-irritating and not tested on animals. It’s suitable for both adults and children and offers a complete regimens that can be used daily on the face or body. Eucerin has a few new products on the market and I’ve been testing them out for the past month with great results.

First up is Eucerin DermatoCLEAN Mild Cleansing Lotion which is an effective, yet mild cleansing lotion to effectively remove makeup and dirt, yet at the same time helps protect the skin from drying out by maintaining skins natural moisture level.

I do believe this was my first experience with a cleansing lotion, so I wasn’t too sure what to expect. It has the consistency of a light lotion that you put on your face which helps cleanse your skin and remove your makeup. I’ve been applying it daily and nightly by simply using my fingers to rub the lotion all over my face and then wiping it off with a cotton pad. I really like how mild and gentle it is on my skin, yet still removes all the dirt and grime. My skin seems to be able to breath better which in returns leaves it feeling fresher, cleaner and softer with each use. I do have dry skin, no matter the season, so having a thicker lotion for a cleaners is perfect for me.

Eucerin DermatoCLEAN Clarifying Toner contains a very effective yet extra mild cleansing complex & natural-derived moisturizers to tone the skin & moisture it instantly.

Having dry skin I was a little nervous about using a toner, most are made with alcohol and dry my skin out even more. After using this clarifying toner and the cleansing lotion together, I can honestly say they complete each other. It instantly refreshes my skin, leaving it clear and radiant. It does remove the residue that the cleanser leaves behind and also any remaining make-up or dirt that the cleanser didn’t get. I allow the toner to dry for about a minute before I go ahead and apply my moisturizer.

Eucerin Hyal-Urea Anti- Wrinkle Cream is the first tailor-made line for your dry skin problems which at the same time reduces the look of wrinkles effectively. It also allows skin’s own natural moisturizer to perfectly replenish moisture, while Hyaluronic-Acid is the natural filling substance that makes the skin appear smooth & plump.

Even though I suffer from dry skin I still want a lightweight moisturizer for the day, especially into summer when I have to apply SPF on top of it. This anti-wrinkle cream has a light texture to it that doesn’t clog my pores and provides just enough moisture to be applied under my makeup. It creates a soft, satiny finish that gives my skin a certain smoothness in appearance. Even though it’s lightweight it still has a thicker consistency to the cream but absorbs easily into the skin.

Eucerin Hyal-Urea Ant- Wrinkle Night Cream with 5% Urea is proven to be uniquely formulated through 3 specific ingredients to repair very dry skin. First, urea helps to replenish and maintain your natural urea levels, while glycerin helps to hydrate your skin and sodium lactate gently exfoliates with a buffered form of lactic acid to help normalize desquamation.

I think we all enjoy a thicker, more intensive, richer cream to help restore our skin at night and I’ve found mine in the Eucerin Hyal-Urea Ant- Wrinkle Night Cream. It helps reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles while increase firmness all while I’m sleeping. It helps to moisturize and smooth even my very dry skin all while being non-greasy. It absorbs easily into my skin and when I wake up in the morning my skin is super hydrated and soft. There are even days when I skipped my daily moisturizer in the morning because my skin still felt nourished.

Overall I am really happy with my new Eucerin skin care routine and since it’s found at the drug stores you know it’s affordable and accessible. All four products are lightweight, moisturizing and without as many breakouts. This would be amazing for someone with dry skin, like myself, plenty of hydration in each product!
