It’s been a year since I featured anything from Revlon, but I have a feeling it’s going to be their year? The brand has already released several new products for 2016, with more to follow in the months ahead. The new Mascara Collection will change the way you shop for mascara with 5 new products, the Ultra HD Matte Lipcolor offers a truly velvety matte finish in a high definition, wax-free formula, Nail Enamel Collection features 10 new shades with the same gorgeous, smooth colour, chip-free formula and flawless finish, along with a 2-in-1 compact that takes the guesswork out of achieving a completely flawless look this season. I’ve also heard talk of new ColorStay Foundation, a new blush collection, HD Lip Lacquers, and even a feminine, yet masculine eau de toilette.
Revlon is changing the way we buy mascara this year with their easy to use Revlon Mascara Collection. The brand recognizes that women are purchasing, and using, several mascaras at a time to achieve her desired look. This new portfolio of mascara was created specifically to match all your top lash needs with the added benefits you long for. These 5 unique mascara and brush combos are not only named clearly, taking the guess work out and confusing product claims, but address all your needs, like volume, length, definition, volume and length.
If you’re like me, and are layering several different mascaras at a time to satisfy multiple lash benefits, you’re going to love the new Revlon Ultimate All-in-One Mascara. This Holy Grail product features 5 lash transforming benefits, volume, length, definition, lift and intense colour, all at once. Its unique hollow core mini brush is specifically deigned to deposit just the right amount of product for mega lash impact. Its oval shape provides perfect application that reaches even the smallest of lashes. It comes in both Blackest Black, Black and Blackened Brown for $11.99.
Revlon Ultra Volume Mascara uses a conditioning clump free formula to help maximize and plump up each lash for intense and massive volume. It’s unique and innovated plumping brush features triple grooves to hold just the right amount of product that easily combs through the lashes and provides a ton of volume from the root to tip. Its mixture of both short and long bristles eliminates any clumps for a completely smooth application process. It comes in both Blackest Black (waterproof and non-waterproof), Black and Blackened Brown for $11.99.
Revlon Super Length Mascara features a unique luscious and lengthening formula that not only glides onto the lashes seamlessly, it’s also fairly buildable for long, lush lashes. Its exclusive stretch brush with tapered tip helps coat even the smallest of lashes, while the long side bristles help to pull the fiber formula through each and every lash for super length. If you’re looking for extreme length, without having to deal with fiber mascaras, this is the mascara for you. It comes in Blackest Black (waterproof and non-waterproof), Black and Blackened Brown for $11.99.
Revlon Volume + Length Magnified Mascara high-shine fiber formula helps to provide amplified volume and length to each lash. Its exceptional magnifying lash brush features a square brush that anchors the formula onto every single lash, coating them individually for intense volume and length. If you’re looking for those large, doe-eyed lashes, this is the mascara for you. It comes in Blackest Black (waterproof and non-waterproof), Black and Blackened Brown for $11.99.
Revlon Dramatic Definition Mascara comes with a smooth, flexible formula that coats lashes for a clump-free definition, ensuring lashes appear endless. It’s exceptional lash separator brush coats and separates each lash for intense, bold definition. Its tiered bristles defines and divides every lash, giving them a thick, heavily black effect. This mascara will exaggerate your look and provide your lashes with a daring and dramatic look that’s perfect for a night out. It comes in Blackest Black (waterproof and non-waterproof), Black and Blackened Brown for $11.99.
Revlon Ultra HD Matte Lipcolor is an incredibly lightweight, wax-free, high-definition matte lip colour that provides an intense, full coverage finish in a single coat. It’s enriched with the fragrance of mango and vanilla to give it a somewhat sweet and candy scent. It’s plush and velvety applicator provides a smooth and easy application, while its rich and creamy formula provides a dose of moisture, ensuring lips never feel dry or caky.
Revlon Ultra HD Matte Lipcolor comes housed in a flat rounded tube with sponge applicator for easy application. Although it claims to be a matte lippie, it never really sets to a completely matte finish. It has a creamy, intense lacquer formula with an incredible amount of shine. When first applied, it has a thin, liquid lip balm feel that’s quite hydrating and comfortable on the lips. Its hybrid formula applies and feels like a lip gloss, but with the pigmentation and opaque coverage of a lipstick. It’s the best of both worlds. Once it sets and dries, it does transform into a semi-matte finish that’s comfortable and lightweight with a hint of moisture. Its velvety smooth texture is a dream to apply, a single swipe and you have full on intense colour. It comes in 8 sultry shades and retails for $11.49 each.
Revlon Ultra HD Matte Lipcolor in Devotion, Love and Passion
Revlon Colorstay 2-in-1 Compact Makeup & Concealer helps take the guesswork out of achieving a completely flawless look thanks to its perfectly paired cream makeup with complementary cream concealer. The concealer is one shade lighter than the foundation to help camouflage any imperfections, breakouts and dark circles. The foundation helps to provide all day coverage with a unique sweat-resistant formula that provides a flawless, fresh looking finish that lasts throughout the entire day.
Revlon Colorstay 2-in-1 Compact Makeup & Concealer comes in a 3 tier compact with the concealer located on the first 2 trays, followed by the foundation underneath. The top tray flips open to reveal the foundation and a sponge applicator and mirror for easy application. The foundation has a rich and creamy, incredibly lightweight texture that’s buildable to take you from a sheer to medium coverage. It blends out seamlessly for an even, demi-matte finish that lasts the entire day without fading or oxidizing. The concealer on the other hand is slightly drier in texture and although fairly pigmented, it’s not opaque enough to hide dark circles or major breakouts. It is buildable to cover minor redness and small blemishes, but I wouldn’t suggest applying it under your eyes, as it’s too drying and will crease.
I totally love the idea of the Revlon Colorstay 2-in-1 Compact Makeup & Concealer and the fact that concealer is one shade lighter than the foundation, saving me having to buy two separate products. That being said, I tend to look for full coverage foundation and something that’s a little more hydrating, so this didn’t exactly work for me. It does set to a satiny matte finish that I love, but it tended to adhere to my drier areas. If you have normal to oily skin, I think this would be excellent for you. It does feel incredibly weightless on the skin and provides a natural finish. It’s soft, silky finish gives the look and feel of a powder that provides a second-skin look that’s completely flawless. It comes in 12 new shades and retails for $19.99.
Last, but not least, new shades of the famous Revlon Nail Enamels. This expertly developed palette of 10 new nail colours comes in mesmerizing purple chrome, eye-catching hot pink and playful leopard sparkle with their 5 worry-free formula that doesn’t contain formaldehyde, DBP, toluene, camphor or formaldehyde resin, so it’s safe enough for daily use. It’s also developed with shadelock technology that offers a fade-resistant, chip-resistant formula that provides gorgeous, smooth colour in a single stroke. It provides smooth, even coverage thanks to its unique brush that provides just the right amount of polish to the nails. It’s pigmented, offers true colour found in the bottle and sets and dries within minutes. It retails for $6.29 each.
