Ideal for those with dry skin
Surprisingly, Shiseido was a brand I used all throughout my teenage years, but haven’t experimented with anything since. Since it’s one of the oldest cosmetic companies in the world, it’s been around since the late 1800’s, I thought I’d reintroduce a few new products into my current skincare routine. It delivers the highest standards of technology, so although I’m sure each product is truly amazing, I went with a few new products that are developed with Asian Yuzu Seed Extract that helps give the skin the ability to balance and maintain its own ideal moisture. This collection is perfect for those with extremely dry skin, like myself.
Shiseido Creamy Cleansing Emulsion is your daily makeup remover and it’s gentle, creamy and emulsion formula effectively removes all traces of makeup, impurities, dirt and oil, while leaving skin exceptionally moist and supple. It rinses clean away, without a greasy, sticky or oily residue and its easy application effectively removes even waterproof and long-lasting makeup. It’s formulated with Bio-Hyaluronic Complex to promote hydration and moisture retention, perfect for those with dry skin like myself.
I start by gently massaging Shiseido Creamy Cleansing Emulsion all over face until emulsion blends thoroughly with the makeup. I then go in with a tissue to wipe away dirt, oil and makeup, or simply rinse with lukewarm water and watch as the day washes away right in front of you. It leaves my skin feeling squeaky clean with an extremely hydrated, silky, almost dewy fresh complexion. It’s been in constant rotation this past month, and is actually the cleanser I brought with me to Antigua, so I didn’t have to pack an extra makeup remover. It may be a little too hydrating for those with normal to oily skin, but us dry skin girls, it’s a miracle worker. It helps to leave my skin healthy, glowing, beautiful and hydrated, even before my moisturizer. Added bonus, it smells amazing. It retails for $44 for 200ml and is available come November 2015.
Shiseido Firming Massage Mask in an innovated new treatment that quickly delivers firming and hydration benefits. It has a dewy, gel to cream-like texture that features tiny vitamin E granules that instantly melts into the skin during the massage process. These powerful little beads help to revitalize, energize and retexturize the look of dry, dull skin. It helps to not only gently exfoliate the skin, by removing dull surface cells and refine surface texture, it also provides complete calmness and relaxation benefits. It will visibly smooth skin and reveal radiant, supple and moisturized skin within minutes.
I’ve been applying a tiny amount of Shiseido Firming Massage Mask after I cleanse, using the Shiseido Creamy Cleansing Emulsion. I used the spatula provided to place a small amount of the gel-like formula into the palm of my hands and smooth over entire face. Then massage, in circular motions for 2 to 3 minutes, or until the tiny granules are completely blended into the skin. I then allow the gel mask to remain on my skin for another few minutes to really allow it to sink deep down into the skin, before removing with a tissue or warm water. Its lightweight formula immediately sinks into the skin, and although I saw no problem applying it under my foundation in the morning, I actually prefer to use it in the evening. It’s the perfect night cream and fits beautifully into my current nighttime routine. It’s gentle, yet effective and is also non-irritating, nor does it cause breakouts. It instantly leaves my complexion brighter and firmer, but by the morning, it’s absolutely glowing. It also seems to help keep my dry skin highly moisturize and supple. It retails for $58 for 50ml and is available come November 2015.
