#SiponSummer
With the official start of summer only a few weeks away, it has me itching to get to the beach, do a little summer clothes, fire up the BBQ more often and lounge around the backyard more. Lazy weekends, picnics, warm weather gatherings is what summer is all about. We spend a lot of time in our backyard, with our fur babies and friends, and it’s always nice to have some refreshing wines on hand for when unexpected guests show up.
When hosting a backyard gathering, aka BBQ, I always try to keep the mood light, fun and relaxing. Of course my first main concern is “what am I going to wear”, I usually stick with comfort, separates, layering pieces with a bit of flare. My main goal is to create memories, not fussing over fancy outfits and complicated meals. My parties are always engaging, an assortment of games and outdoor activities always keeping my guests entertained throughout the day and well into the evening. I tend to stick with a theme, and build my outfit, meal plan and activities around that. Top of the list, refreshments. I’m quite good at bartending and although I love to create unique cocktails and shots, sometimes you just need a simple bottle of wine to keep your friends happy.
When I’m not hosting a fancy get together, there’s nothing I enjoy more on a crisp Friday night than sipping on a glass of wine, chilling with my fur babies, eating cake and catching up on some fun summer movies.
Two Oceans Moscato Wine has a slightly fruity and sweet profile thanks to its bouquet of apricot, peach nectar and ripe pear. It’s incredibly crisp, pleasantly sweet and extremely refreshing. This brilliantly clear wine smells juicy, sweet and fresh. It complements any summer dish, from fresh summer salads, seafood, to BBQ chicken dinners and beyond. It goes down incredibly easy with the perfect balance of sweet and acidity. It does have a slightly stronger peach aroma with just a hint of fruity notes. It retails for $9.95 at your local LCBO.

Amber, I think you’re going to have to host a summer CBB bbq!
