The Tarte Amazonian Clay Eyeshadow Palette comes in a cardboard, flip style with magnetic closure packaging with 20 full size shadows within. Each shadow is soft, buttery and extremely velvety. There are a few shades that can be quite powdery, but nothing you can’t work with. It has an excellent mix of mattes, metallic and shimmer that can easily take you from day to night. All shades work and blend beautifully together, with the exception of a few matte shades than can be a bit patchy and difficult to work with. For the most part, each shade is extremely pigmented and truly opaque in a few easy swipes. The glitter and shimmer shades do not have large chunks of glitter, making them very easy to work with and wearable. Each shade lasted throughout the day without creasing or fading when paired with an eye primer.
Palace of Versaille is an extremely pale pink with a matte finish, Moulin Rouge is light taupe with almost a plum undertone to it, also with a matte finish, I Think I Cannes is a greyish purple with a matte finish, My Own Cotes de Rhone is a dark, muted purple with a matte finish and Boudoir Noir is a dark burgundy brownish, with almost a reddish tint and a semi-matte finish.
Fall in Louvre is a pale peach with a satin finish, Provence Upon a Time is a deep brownish gold with a frosted finish, Eiffel for You is a medium olive with a brown undertone with a matte finish, Too Haute to Handle is a dark bronze with a slight shimmer and Bastille in the Night is extremely dark brown with a statin finish.
Chantilly Lace is a pale beige with a satin finish, Merci You Later is a dark taupe with a matte finish, No Champagne, No Gain is a stunning holiday gold with a metallic brown sheen, Take on Bordeaux is a dark chocolate brown with a satin finish and French Riviera is a shimmery green with a frosted finish.
C’est La Vie is a sparkly gold/ pewter with a metallic finish, Marseille the Word is a dark pewter with a grey pearly sheen finish, Play Nice is a purple with a greyish matte finish, On a Good Notre Dame is a dark black with a semi-matte finish and final Le Cordon Bleu is a beautiful blue/ purple with a matte finish.
Tarte LipSugence Lip Tint in Romantic is a soft pinky coral with a high gloss shine. It provides a natural pop of colour to the lips with a hydrating formula. It has a semi opaque coverage that applies evenly and effortlessly in a single swipe. It stays put for a few hours before wanting to reapply. It doesn’t feel heavy, tacky or sticky and keeps lips moisturized throughout the wear.
Tarte LipSugence Lip Gloss in Visionary is a soft and pale peachy coral with a slight shimmer throughout. It provides a semi opaque colour coverage with a high gloss and long lasting shine. It’s extremely hydrating and lasted a solid 3 to 4 hours before fading. It has the sweet scent and taste of peppermint that reminds me of the holidays. It’s the perfect nude this season.
Tarte Cheek Stain in Muse is a beige/ brown with a subtle metallic sheen. It goes on fairly sheer with just a hint of colour that would probably be best used as a highlighting shade. It has a soft, almost gel like texture that makes it a breeze to apply and blends out evenly and easily. It doesn’t provide a few days wear, but you can expect a solid 5 hours before it starts to fade. It also has the fresh and yummy scent of lemon.
Tarte light, camera, lashes 4-in-1 mascara is infused with olive esters to help condition, treat, and protect lashes. It adds super length and extreme volume while conditioning each lash. It’s easy to apply with a clump free application each and every time. Added bonus, it’s fairly easy to remove at the end of the day. I didn’t experience any flaking or smudging under the eye area the entire day.
Tarte Maracuja Oil is cold pressed oil from the maracuja fruit pulp. It has a thin, clear texture that absorbs quite quickly into the skin without that thick and heavy oily residue. It’s best to use as a nightly facial oil treatment as it can make your foundation a little slick. You’ll wake up to smooth, hydrated and glowing skin.
Tarte Amazonian Clay Finishing Powder is a translucent, silky finishing powder that will help keep your makeup in place and diffuses any imperfections. It applies effortlessly, blends easily and gives an extremely smooth finish to the skin. It will help mattify the skin by removing excess surface oil without clinging to drier areas.
Tarte Pin Up Girl Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Blush Palette contains 5 new shades of Tartes oh so famous Amazonian clay blushes ranging from shades of peach, coral, plum and browns. In comes in a vintage style, Parisian-inspired, gold linen clutch with a full size mirror on the inside lid along with 2 matching hair pins attached on the outside. The formula is truly unique and works on both oily skin (helps control oil) and dry skin (helps hydrate the skin). It has a finely milled texture that’s soft and buttery smooth. It’s highly pigmented with intense opaque colour in a single swipe. You’ll want to start off with a sheer layer and add more to increase and intensify the colour if you desire. They may come off a little powdery at first, but they apply smoothly and evenly and are super easy to blend out. Although I didn’t experience a full 12 hours like I do with the individual pans, I did get at least 8 hours of wear time before they started to fade.
Tarte Breathless is a pinky beige with a satin-matte finish, Embraced is a dark plummy rose with a frosted finish, Whimsy is a light cool-toned pink with a semi-matte finish, Bashful is a medium rosy peachy coral with a goldish shimmery sheen and Irreplaceable is a medium, almost dark mauve with a rosy pink, semi-matte finish.
The Tarte Pin Up Girl Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Blush Palette is all I’ve been using these past few weeks. I love everything about it and that in comes in an array of finishes in a single palette. The packaging (of course), the colours, the formula, the pigmentation on all 5 shades and the staying power. It’s an excellent deal considering a single Amazonian Clay blush retails for $31 (2oz) and you’re getting 5 (0.158oz) in this palette. It’s a total value of over $132 for only $50.
