The only tweezer you’ll ever need
I have to admit, I get a little tweezer happy sometimes and now it’s even easier to remove unwanted, stray hairs with the new Tweezerman Blue Jewel Slant Tweezer. It’s won the “Best of Beauty” from Allure editors 12 years running, thanks to its award-winning slanted tip for expert brow shaping. It’s perfectly aligned with a hand-filed, slanted tip that guarantees you grab every hair, every time, with the smoothest precision possible. The tweezer closes evenly and firmly to help create the cleanest pulling power. Best part, it comes with a free sharpening guarantee so you’ll own these beauties for a lifetime.
To get the best possible application, try taking a hot shower or using a warm washcloth to open up the pores, this will allow the hair to become softer for ease removal. Place the bottom half of the tweezer on the skin, under the hair, and the upper half on the other side of the hair. You want to always tweeze in the direction of your natural hair growth to avoid breakage. When finished, use cold water to close pores to prevent dirt from getting in. Always allow the skin to fully recover before you start tweezing again. Finally, keep your tweezer clean by wiping it off after every use and try to remember to place the cap back on it. This will just help prevent bacteria from building up, which can cause infections.
At first I thought, what’s so special about these Tweezerman Blue Jewel Slant Tweezer that was until I tried it. To start, it fits perfectly in my hand without slipping through my fingers. The two halves seem to clamp together with enough power to grab each hair and it springs back without departing. The hand finish tip is the perfect shape for grabbing each and every single hair without having to go over it again and again. The point is incredibly sharp so you can pull out even the smallest of hairs with ease. It’s so sharp that you need to be pretty careful when using it, not to scrape or poke holes in your skin. Since it’s made from stainless steel, it is super durable, easy to clean, and will last the test of time. Like scissors, the tips may become a little dull over time, but all you have to do is send it into Tweezerman for sharpening free of charge, for life. It retails for $29 at Holt’s.
