Fifty Shades of Grey

I may have left my whips and chains at home for the pre-screening of Fifty Shades of Grey, but that doesn’t mean it didn’t get pretty darn steamy in the movie theatre. For someone who hasn’t read the books, I didn’t know what to expect, but went in with an open mind. I heard mixed reviews about it, you either love it or hate it, but I was actually pretty excited to see it. I thought it was fairly informative and gave you a sneak peek into the “secret” world of S&M. The discipline, the bondage, the roleplaying, the dominance and submission, an indepth look. I know a lot of people think it glamorizes sexual abuse and violence against women, but I actually think it’s the opposite. It’s about a young woman exploring her own desires for the first time and coming into her own body. Of course, if this is unfamiliar territory for you, you need to go into it with an open mind and a nonjudgmental view to truly appreciate it. The chemistry between Johnson and Dornan is on point, especially with the strong sex scenes and a ton of nudity (over 20 minutes to be exact). I wanna know, are you going to see the movie?
