How to style a plaid skirt

It’s no secret that I’m in love with plaid, or any bold print for that matter. I have a thing for anything tartan, and I don’t see this obsession going away any time soon? Something about a tartan print always reminds me of cooler, autumn days jumping in leaves. As much as I love a simple, black pencil skirt, there’s something just extra special about this red and black plaid skirt. I love mixing it with stripes, but something about this brocade peplum top, just makes it extra flirty and fun. Next time I wear this plaid skirt is going to be with a long sleeve denim shirt for a more relaxed feel.
