The brand has released countless “first” products, ground breaking innovations and been a global trendsetter from the very beginning.
Maybelline celebrates their 100 year anniversary this year with a limited edition collection. These collectable products pay homage to the brands colourful history and bright future ahead with graphic prints inspired by the iconic New York skyline and designed by Brooklyn artist Meg Lipke. It’s extremely creamy, applies like a dream and almost melts into the skin once applied to the lid. Although not highly pigmented, it offers enough colour to give a luster finish to the eyes. These are still some of my favourite lipsticks thanks to their pure pigments that effortlessly allow me to achieve true opaque coverage in a single swipe. It stays put on the lips for a solid 4 to 5 hours before slowly fading, but never bleeding outside the lines.
