Flower Power

Floral print trend

Flower Power! Everybody loves flowers, whether it’s in a bouquet, a vase, a garden, or a park, so it’s only natural we love floral prints in our clothing. Introduce them into your wardrobe this season and you too can bloom. I love the femininity of a floral print and this season it’s found on pretty much everything; from flowy dresses to silky gowns, to retro jumpsuits, to denim, tops and blouses. It brightens up any wardrobe with its bold pops of colour and add visual interest with its prints. If you’re nervous about wearing a floral print, just keep it simple and work with only one print. I threw on my new favourite pair of boyfriend jeans and teamed it up with this button down floral blouse. Also the size of the print matters, if your tiny, look for smaller florals as a larger print may be overwhelming on a small frame and look too busy.
