Happy International Women’s Day to all my beautiful, talented, strong, independent, courageous and fierce ladies out there. I had the honour of speaking at an Ontario Southwest conference today about being an ‘influencer’, alongside 2 talented women. It was for a segment they like to call “Blow Your Own Horn”. I was able to share my thoughts on social media, how to reach out to bloggers and answer questions from businesses across Southwestern Ontario. It was quite the morning. I even had the honour of meeting Canadian’s own, Michele Romanow. This tech entrepreneur and venture capitalist is the co-owner of Buytopia (one of Canada’s fastest growing companies) and the star of Dragons’ Den. She is even more lovely in person, and I was excited to have the chance to chat with her.

I then got to spend time with my girlfriend and gifted her these fabulous Hillberg And Berk earrings (which ironically was also featured on Dragons’ Den way back in 2008). This is where I was first introduced to the brand, as I’ve been a huge fan and supported of the show since the beginning.
