Know a girl who loves to have fun with makeup and isn’t afraid of a little colour, than anything from the Kat Von D lineup would be perfect for her. The new Kat Von D Mi Vida Loca Remix Eyeshadow Palette features an array of 24 bold, bright and extremely fun eyeshadow colours. It has a wide assortment of every shade of the rainbow, along with a few neutral shades to help balance out the look in an easy to use colour wheel. Like all Kat’s shadows, each shade is soft, creamy and applies smoothly and evenly to the lid. Pigmented, opaque and extremely buildable, each shade is true to colour in the pan. A few shades are drier than the others and produce some fallout, but for the most part, each shade is buildable and blend out like a dream. Kat Von D Mi Vida Loca Remix Eyeshadow Palette in Rewind is a deep burgundy with a sheen finish, Destroyer is an orangey red with a matte finish, Swoon is a bold fuchsia with a matte finish, Love is a light rosy pink with a frosted finish, Anthem is a plum with a slight shimmer and a satin finish and Muse is a pale lavender with a satin finish.
Echo is a violet purple with a silver sparkle and a matte finish, Dark Wave is a navy blue with a matte finish, Synth is a blue with a silver shimmer and a matte finish, Hyperballad is a cool teal with a matte finish and Lemmy is a deep forest green with a frosted finish.
Misfit is a yellowy green with a fine micro shimmer, Vinyl is a lime green with a golden shimmer, Legend is a pale yellow with a metallic finish, Fran is a bold sunny yellow with a slight satin, yet matte finish, Analogue is a bright tangerine with a matte finish and Harpsichord is a coppery brown with a frosted finish.

Another favourite of mine around this time is the Kat Von D Lip Duos. They usually come with a mini version of some of her best-selling products, and this season it’s all about Lolita. I wanted that Mi Vida Loca palette soooooo badly! The price put me off a little but I did see it at Sephora at Christmas last year in London. I should have bought it but didn’t. Now I have some serious regret but c’est la vie!
