John Frieda Frizz-Ease Forever Smooth Collection Review

Bye, bye frizz

It has been over a year since I’ve used anything from the John Frieda Frizz-Ease line and I forgot just how much I love this collection. Now that the warmer months are upon us, I’m already battling frizz and fly-a-ways and no matter how often I straighten my hair, or how much product I put on, it never seems to be smooth and straight. John Frieda has added two new collections to the popular Frizz Ease line, Forever Smooth and Miraculous Recovery.

John Frieda Frizz-Ease Forever Smooth three piece collection will help treat frizz from the inside and outside. It will help you achieve 3x smoother hair compared to non-conditioning shampoo in a single use, thanks to its revolutionary technology, the Frizz Immunity Complex. This unique formula binds the protein inside your hair strand to help regulate the moisture content of your hair, preventing it from absorbing moisture from the environment that can lead to swelling and misalignment of the hair fibers, causing frizz. It’s also formulated with pure coconut oil that works deep inside the hair to help eliminate frizz at the core. Your hair is left with overall added control, style, maintenance and manageability.

John Frieda Frizz Ease Forever Smooth Frizz Immunity Shampoo and Conditioner is a unique duo that helps to both cleanse and condition the hair and provide immediate frizz resistance and increases hair’s immunity to frizz with every use. It features an exclusive non-silicone formula that’s infused with pure coconut oil and Frizz Immunity Complex that penetrates deep into hair fibers for a smoother hair appearance.

John Frieda Frizz Ease Forever Smooth Frizz Immunity Shampoo has a lightweight, creamy texture that gently, yet thoroughly cleanses the hair of product buildup, dirt and oil. It comes to a decent lather and washes clean away. I can actually feel my hair becoming softer, stronger and less dry with each use. The conditioner on the other hand, is slightly thicker and heavier, which helps to keep the fly-a-ways at bay. It does a wonderful job at preventing breakage and dry ends due to its richer formula. As the weeks went on, I noticed less frizz and my ends seems to be a lot healthier and less full. It really does give a shiny, glossy finish to the hair without looking too greasy. It retails for $12.99 for 250ml each.

John Frieda Frizz Ease Forever Smooth Anti-Frizz Primer is a styling base that instantly smooths unruly hair and builds a more manageable, frizz free style over time. It too is formulated with pure coconut oil and Frizz-Immunity Complex that works deep inside the hair to eliminate frizz at the source for added control and style.

John Frieda Frizz Ease Forever Smooth Anti-Frizz Primer is best used on wet hair by evenly distributing a pump or two from mid-shaft to tip before styling as normal. I love that it can be used on both curly, straight and wavy hair, allowing you to create endless amounts of looks without the frizz. It does a wonderful job at keeping my dead straight hair under control and with less frizz, and it also seems to help protect against heat damage? It can be a little too rich for my thin, short hair if I apply too much, a little really does go a long way. It retails for $12.99 for 90ml.

John Frieda Frizz Ease Miraculous Recovery Shampoo does seem to come to the same rich and foamy lather as the Smooth Frizz Immunity Shampoo, which I’m okay with, as it feels much lighter on my hair. It still leaves it feeling squeaky clean and does a wonderful job at removing my daily serums, oils and other junk I put into my hair daily. It deeply nourished my dry strands with incredible moisture, yet felt incredibly lightweight. The conditioner on the other hand is so hydrating and moisturizing it instantly detangles any knots I may have, even before brushing. It doesn’t feel too heavy, nor does it look greasy or oily. My hair was left feeling soft, silky and smooth with less frizz and fly-a-ways, even before styling or taking a straightener to it. It retails for $10.99 for 250ml each.

It’s also perfect for us girls that over blow dry, use straightening irons on a daily basis and colour treat our hair, which can cause more damage to the hair than good.
