My personal style is always changing and always developing. If you would have asked me a few years ago to style a pair of sneakers on this fashion blog (outside of the gym) it would have been a quick no. Fast forward to today, my footwear preference of choice, kicks. That being said, not all sneakers are made equally. The majority of the ones I try on are so uncomfortable, even more so than my high heels. When I first heard about Reef, a surf and lifestyle brand made with exclusive swellular technology that combines comfort, support and traction all in one, I knew my feet were in good hands.
There’s something quite crisp, clean and sleek about a pair of black sneakers, and it is probably just one of the many reasons its trending right now. I was on the hunt for a classic black sneaker when I came across these Reef Rover Low LX. I was instantly drawn to them, but I wasn’t expecting them to be this lightweight. Like we’re talking light as a feather, yet surprisingly high quality, extremely comfortable and durable. Although Reef is best known for their surf-focused offerings, I can quickly see these being popular in the trend seekers and fashionistas alike. I’ve worn these with a basic tee and skinny jeans for a casual afternoon, dressed up a little with a flirty skirt, or paired with your favourite skirt and blouse for an evening out. These are seriously the most comfortable pair of footwear I currently own and leave me wanting more styles.
