World MasterCard Fashion Week is already half over, the week is fly by, as it always does. On day 3 I got to attend some pretty fabulous shows, where the energy was high, the music was on point and the fashion was great. The first one was Klaxon Howl which featured geometric shapes inspired by the revolutionary constructive art movement. Next up was Pink Tartan, a luxury and sophisticated mix of prints and solids that will super to impress in the Fall and Winter of 2014. My favourite this season, okay and every season, would have to be Joe Fresh. The Fresh Expedition was a union of urban sophistication and the abiding call of the wild; Canada’s great outdoor if you will, outerwear that moves coolly from city to wide-open spaces with bold pops of oranges. Last show of the night was Mackage, inspired by Mother Nature and a blend of rich fall shades with innovated textiles and textures.
