Mary Kay At Play Bold Fluid Eyeliner comes housed in a clear plastic tube, so you’re able to see the shade within. Its ultra-thin brush is somewhat harder, stiffer and less flexible than other brands, which can make it a little challenging in creating a straight line. It has a watery texture that glides onto the eyelids effortlessly without pulling and is extremely buildable for more intense colour payoff. It dries fairly quickly, within 30 seconds, so just be careful about blinking too much, otherwise you’ll have eyeliner on the top of your eyelids. It highly pigmented, truly opaque and gives a vivid and bold pop of colour to the eyes that stays put, without fading, smudging or flaking throughout the day. Mary Kay At Play Triple Layer Tinted Balm comes in a white plastic tube with a clear lid that reveals the shade within. It has 3 layers, like the name says, the outer layer is the pigmented shade that gives a hint of colour to the balm, the middle layer is playing on the “it” colour of the year, radiant orchid and the final layer is just a clear, white lip balm to give moisture to the balm. It has a smooth and creamy texture that glides onto the lip effortlessly and provides light moisturization. It provides a sheer wash of colour, some shades more pigmented than others, with just a touch of shine, for a beautiful healthy glow that brightens up the lips. It’s comfortable to wear throughout the day, but needs to be reapplied every 2 hours for total hydration. It does have a strong fruity scent, that I love and there’s no need for a mirror to apply these, which is perfect for ladies on the go.
