May 13th, 2014- World Waterpark

Today we checked out World Waterpark in West Edmonton Mall and it was like we escaped Canada for a few hours and found ourselves in a tropical paradise. It features the world’s largest indoor wave pool and more than 17 unique waterslides and play features. Its 31 degrees inside the waterpark, the wave pool is like warm bathwater and the hot tubs are even hotter. Some of the rides are pretty intense, we didn’t get the chance to ride them all, but a solid 10 to 12 of them at least. A few of them I couldn’t go on because of my 2 piece bathingsuit; didn’t want to show all my goodies to the world hehe. We spent a good 30 minutes after the slides and wave pool in the hot tubs build for 2, so relaxing after a long day of swimming. I think we picked the perfect day to go, there was only about 20 people in total, where on the weekend we saw upwards of at least 2000. I suggest going during the weekdays, the weekends can get a little crazy. It was nice not having to wait in line or having to hunt for a chair.
