Today we took a walk in the park, Victoria Park to be exact. Victoria Park covers over 18 acres in the northeast part of downtown London. It’s probably one of my favourite spaces in London. Each summer the park hosts several outdoor events including International Food Festival, a Kids Expo, Sunfest which is a celebration of global arts, Ribfest and so much more. I also like to spend at least a few hours downtown, shopping local businesses, watching local entertainers and of course stopping at each food tent/ truck and enjoying yummy treats. This weekend it was the Hockey Play On 4 on 4 street hockey tournament and outdoor hockey festival. Although not something I really enjoy, okay I hate hockey, it was fun to just walk around and enjoy the beautiful day. We brought our lil fur baby Chanel with us, which isn’t always the smartest idea, as every few steps we took, someone is asking to play with her. I got my first Beaver Tail of the season and as soon as I got home, I wished I picked up a few more to have during the week. Yes, I have a weakness for Beaver Tails and Elephant Ears.
