It’s National Sweater Day and the WWF is challenging all Canadians to lower the thermostat today and throw on a sweater to keep warm. This symbolic gesture is to show support on taking action on climate change. A virtual sweater, in real-time is now live as Canadians engage in the climate change conversation through their social media channels. Each time a Selfie is uploaded showcasing their sweaters on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and Google Plus with the hashtag #SweaterDay, another piece of the virtual sweater is pulled together on www.sweaterday.ca. Winter weather is no excuse to throw style out the window, and WWF has teamed up with Eco-stylist, Sarah Jay to prevent these winter woes from taking over. It’s not too late to take a Selfie in your favourite sweater and share on social media with the hashtag #SweaterDay to join the conversation. I can’t wait to see everyone’s sweaters.

I love that sweater! I went out in search of it shortly after I saw you post about it last year but sadly it was sold out of my size everywhere I went. It looks great on you!
