From the moment you open the lid of this pale blue, sleek, no label to peel off in the shower, beautiful bottle you immediately notice the luxurious smell coming from the shampoo, a very light, but noticeable citrusy/coconut aroma that will fill your bathroom with scents from the Islands. The shampoo itself is clear and has almost a gel like texture to it, it lathers up nicely, yet stays light weight, and rinses clean and quickly. It doesn’t make your hair feel like it’s got a lot of product in it and most days I would be okay not even having to use a conditioner.

Nexxus Hydra Light Conditioner is a daily conditioner that feels incredibly rich, yet rinses clean and has a high amount of coconut oil in it and when used in combination with the shampoo, provides up to 80% more moisturization. It retails for $14.99 for 400ml.

The conditioner has the same pale blue bottle design with the same great smell, but this time you can really smell the coconut and gives a strong aroma that one might find in a high end spa. The conditioner has a creamy, thick, white texture to it which, after applying to damp hair and leaving for about a minute, leaves your hair ultra hydrating and easily able to comb through.

Nexxus Hydra-Light Leave-In Conditioning Foam is a daily leave-in-treatment that provides weightless nourishment to restore softness and shine to the hair. It retails for $12.99 for 162ml.

It comes in the same pale blue bottle, with the same great scent as the rest of the collection, but has a pump for easy disbursement. It has a foaming mousse like texture that can be easily run through damp hair. You just apply 1 to 2 pumps to damp, just out of the shower, pool or beach hair and let it sit for a few minutes before combing. It detangles and allows for easy brushing with absolutely no build up. It leaves my hair soft, hydrated and smooth with an extra little bit of shine. This foam is so lightweight that you can even use it on dry hair to control fly-aways and static. Just apply ½ pump to palms, rub hands together to create a thin film and then spread evenly over hair.

Nexxus Hydra-Light Root Lift Mist is a lift and shine spray that targets the roots and provides extra body, fullness, 4x the volume and an all over shine to the hair. It retails for $12.99 for 300ml.

Same great packaging as the rest of the collection with a spray bottle nozzle that doesn’t squirt out too fast. I’ve been spraying this into my hair before blow drying each morning and it gave my hair a natural lift, great volume to my crown with a little extra shine. It doesn’t weigh your hair down, has no sticky residue and also helps to control frizz in this humidity we’ve been having.

After using all 4 Nexxus Hydra Light products for the last few weeks, I found my hair has more bounce and body than usual and is extremely manageable after using the entire line. It leaves my hair feeling hydrated, shiny, soft and with a nice citrusy scent behind. I’ve been using the leave-in-conditioner a lot, especially when I hit the beach or the pool, just helps to detangle without having to wash and condition my hair.
