When I first started my blog way back in 2010, I mainly focused on fashion, but quickly decided to introduce beauty onto the site as fashion and beauty go hand in hand, you can’t have one without the other. What do you get when you take a well-known fashion designer and pair them with a top leading beauty brand; a fabulous collaboration of course. This year many companies are collaborating with designers to create limited edition collections like the Matthew Williamson collab with Benefit (found here) and then Alber Elbaz collab with Lancôme (found here) and now British designer Giles Deacon with NIVEA, it doesn’t get any better than that. Come take a sneak peak a the new NIVEA Soft Giles Deacon Catwalk
NIVEA has partnered with world-renowned fashion designer Giles Deacon, who’s known for his funky and playful prints on the catwalk, to create exclusive limited edition design packaging that reflects his own influences, while staying true to his classic look with fun, bold colour palettes and funky sketches of models having fun on the runway in tutus, statement pieces, coloured hair and oversized sunnies for NIVEA soft moisturizing cream. Deacon “wanted to create a timeless and colourful design that’s not only fun, but a bit eccentric, too”
Even though NIVEA soft moisturizing cream has a funky new designer exterior it has the same quick absorbing moisturizer, containing Vitamin E and Jojoba Oil for intense moisture that we’ve all come to learn and love on the inside. The cream has a very soft, lightweight texture that can be applied to the face, hands and body, leaving it feeling refreshed and hydrated. Skin is left feeling extremely soft, smooth and moisturized without feeling greasy or sticky. These limited edition jars are available this month at major drug stores and pharmacies across Canada and will retail for $10.99 for 200ml.
