Outlet Shopping At Toronto Premium Outlets

Outlet Shopping At Toronto Premium Outlets

Outlets have always been my number one source of shopping and some of my favourite bargain hunting experiences to date. I remember traveling to the States when I was a teenager trying to hunt down that must-have item of the moment at a discounted price. I’m always about looking and feeling good on a budget and proving that you don’t have to spend a ton of money to look current and on trend. I still remember hearing the news about Toronto Premium Outlets opening and literary jumping for joy. As you know, London doesn’t necessarily have the best shopping, which leaves me traveling to other cities to find current fashion crazes.

Since Toronto Premium Outlets is just over an hour away, in Halton Hills, you can usually find me scoping out the latest deals at least a handful (if not more) of times a year. My last trip was over Labour Day Weekend (just before we caught our plane to Europe), as it was on the way to the airport, so how could we not stop by for a little retail therapy? I wasn’t really thinking about how busy it was going to be, and boy were the stores jammed packed. Good for our economy, right?

Toronto Premium Outlets offer more than 80 stores, ranging from high-end designers such as Burberry, Coach, Michael Kores, Tory Burch, Kate Spade and Ted Baker, to more affordable brands like Calvin Klein, J.Crew, Polo, American Eagle, Banana Republic, Aldo, Club Monaco and Ecco.

My first stop is usually Saks Off 5th thanks to its large selection of designer handbags, shoes and clothing. It’s hard to walk away empty handed with so many amazing deals. Although I fell in love with a stunning red Balenciaga bag, pointed black ankle booties from Ivanka Trump and a lovely Alice + Olivia dress, the lineup was just too long to wait in. Guess this just means I’ll have to go back?

Kate Spade is a must when shopping Toronto Premium Outlets, you can usually find her handbags marked down to at least 50% off. This store is where my love affair for her handbags began, and although they were offering 60% off your entire purchase, plus an additional 20% off the day, while I was there, nothing really caught my eye that I didn’t already own. Does this mean I have a Kate Spade addiction?

I then popped into Tory Burch, I’ve been on the hunt for a solid brown handbag for what seems like forever, and the moment I laid eyes on the Robinson Satchel, I knew I had to have it. It’s been a classic bag for years, so not only did I know it was going to be a good investment, it was on sale for only $299 (marked down from $575US). It’s made from high quality, scratch-resistant Italian leather and feels like butter. It’s the perfect everyday carryall thanks to its roomy shape and endless amounts of pockets. Its chic design is not only timeless and fashionable, it allows me to carry all my accessories while staying completely organized. I love that it comes with an over-the-shoulder strap allowing me to be hands-fee while I’m on the go.

I knew I couldn’t possibly go into Fall without a new pair of booties, which is why I stopped into one of my favourite shoe stores, Vince Camuto. It was love at first sight with these black Rora Peep Booties. This suede statement bootie is completely streamlined and features a chic deep-V topline, sexy peep-toe and a slight platform for added comfort and easy walking. It was on sale for $125, down from $225.
