How to style a skort

I’m sportin’ skorts again on the blog today. I can’t even tell you how much this fashion blogger loves this Smart Set skort. It’s a hybrid between a skirt and short, a skirt in the front and shorts in the back. It gives the sexiness of a mini-skirt with the practicality of a short. It’s a true fashion statement this year, much like the overalls that are still going strong, both these pieces are trending in a major way.The return of the 90s is back in a big way, but with a modern twist. The skorts have jagged and asymmetrical hemlines, keeping them fresh and current.  I’ve already styled them once, with my Kate Spade for Keds sneakers. It looked so darn cute, I needed to style them again with my new pair of polka dot Keds. Do we see a theme with the Keds this year? I can’t get enough of them, so comfy, chic and practical. There’s something about the skort that just seems sporty to me, which is why sneakers are the way to go.
