I know I just returned from Antigua less than 2 weeks ago, but Derek and I are off to Jamaica this weekend. It’s been 10 years since Derek proposed to me on the top of Dunns River Falls, and although we didn’t really plan on celebrating our engagement anniversary, we wanted to get away. Jamaica was on the top of our list to re-travel too, so we thought it would be the perfect time to do so. Since I enjoy being “white” I always bring my SPF50 everywhere with me and am consistently wearing a huge sun hat and large sunglasses the entire trip to help protect my skin. That being said, my face often ends up a lot lighter than the rest of my body. Although a slightly darker foundation often does the trick of matching my face to my body, I was on the hunt to find something a little more long lasting and something I didn’t have to apply daily. Although it feels a bit sticky once applied to the skin, it sets and dries with 10 short minutes to a completely soft, supple and smooth finish. It does have a subtle, almost herbal scent that is much more tolerable than your traditional self-tanner. Don’t expect dramatic results, instead it provides a realistic, natural, healthy glow that’s perfect for us pale skin gals.
