As a beauty blogger, I often wonder if all these creams, gels, potions, masks and peels I apply daily are actually working. Are these treatments and products helping slow down the aging process or am I just wasting my money? After talking to several dermatologists and spa specialists, they’ve all come back with lasers as the most beneficial. Although this sounds ideal in theory, I don’t have a ton of spare time that I can devote to these treatments, nor do I want to spend all that money in hopes it does something. The new Tria Age-Defying Eye Wrinkle Correcting Laser is one of the most effective, yet affordable little devices on the market today. With only a few short minutes a day, I can get professional and visible results in as little as a few months.
Tria Age-Defying Eye Wrinkle Correcting Laser advanced laser treatment helps to fight wrinkles in the comfort of your own home. Its fractional, non-ablative laser technology is safe enough to use daily and is safe on all skin tones and types. It requires only 2 short minutes a day with absolutely no downtime. Its targeted beam of light works below the surface to create microscopic zones of cellular disruption to help target the sign of aging. The body’s natural healing process springs into action and generates new collagen and elastin, while leaving the surface of the skin intact. As the skin renews itself, it helps to smooth fine lines and wrinkles around the eyes, while revealing a more youthful appearance.
Tria Age-Defying Eye Wrinkle Correcting Laser couldn’t be easier to use, simply charge using the standard mini USB until the indicator light turns green. Cleanse and dry the skin around the eyes, making sure it’s free of all makeup, sunscreen, dirt and oil. This ensures the laser light is fully effective. Glide the device around each eye using circular motions for about 1 minute a piece. The light will turn a green when it’s ready to use and then turn purple when it’s ready to go onto the next eye. Follow up with the Nourishing Eye Renewal Cream (retails for $75) that’s specially formulated with hyaluronic acid and ginger extract to help reduce redness, while soothing and hydrating the skin. It features a cooling metal applicator that instantly helps soothe the eye after each treatment. Continue this for a minimum of 8 weeks.
I love that the Tria Age-Defying Eye Wrinkle Correcting Laser gives me the same beam of light that works below the surface to help stimulate cell renewal and diminish wrinkles around my eyes that I’d receive at my doctor’s office or plastic surgeon’s office, but from the comfort of my own home. Like any new device, it takes some time to get used to. I’m fairly familiar with the Tria, I’ve used the Beauty Laser Hair Removal 4X in the past, but that doesn’t mean it didn’t take some time to get used to this new laser. It’s important to make full contact with the skin at all times and make sure it is flush against the skin, otherwise the light shuts off. Try positioning yourself towards a mirror so you’re able to see where the beam of light is hitting. The intense light penetrates deep below the skin to help generate collagen and visibly improves my skin after each treatment. It leaves the surface fully intact, which means absolutely no downtime, like you may experience in a spa.
Although the Tria Age-Defying Eye Wrinkle Correcting Laser may not be completely painless, it is tolerable. I’ve had laser treatments before, so I knew what to expect. It’s a little tingling and warm at first, followed by a little irritation and redness. The eye cream seems to help with this, but I still suggest using it at night, just in case. I also can’t stress how important it is to use a high SPF during the day after each treatment and during you’re entire treatment period. Since this device is generating new skin, it’s extremely vulnerable and sensitive to light. After only 4 short weeks, I’ve already noticed a huge improvement. The delicate skin around my eyes is feeling and looking more firm, and although my crow’s feet are still visible, it doesn’t look as prominent. The area where I saw the highest improvement is the overall smoothness of my skin. The area under my eyes seem more firm, soft and supple. It’s also helped with my dark circles and made the entire eye area brighter with a radiant glow. It does dry the skin out a little, and in fact, some days my skin would actually peel and flake, which is a good thing tho. I am excited to continue treatments and check back in with you after the 8 week period to let you know how my skin is progressing. It retails for $285.
