Formerly Canadian Fashionista
9 years ago, I decided to start a blog. Unknowingly at the time, I never knew Canadian Fashionista would change my life forever. I never anticipated doing it full-time, nor did I think more than a few people would read it. I never imagined having a “brand” or reaching such a wide audience. I found the more I wrote and shared my daily life, the stronger my community grew. I started doing more work I was proud of and getting the chance to work with some amazing brands.
About a year or two in, I started to dislike the name “Canadian Fashionista”. Again, I never thought this was going to be anymore than a hobby, so I never really worried about the name. By year 5, I felt I totally outgrew the name. My followers were no longer just Canadians, and I was so much more than just fashion. Scared to make a name change and rebrand, I stuck with it. I was worried my followers wouldn’t know who I was, or what I was about.
After years of talking about it, I finally decided to rebrand. I wanted to make it a better representation of well…me! So why Pink Millennial? I was born in the 80’s, making me a millennial, and if you’ve been following me for any longer than a week, you know my obsession with pink. Regardless of how my business shifts in the future, I think that this change makes the most sense for me moving forward. Whether I’m styling an outfit, reviewing the new products to hit the market, showcasing the latest makeup trend, sharing my travel adventures, sharing my love of home décor or cooking up the latest recipe or cocktail, Pink Millennial is truly who I am.
Great look!
