Spa Day! Without giving away too much information, as I’ll be having an entire blog post on my experience coming up soon, I went for my second IPL treatment today at the beautiful Mooi Spa here in London. IPL stands for Intense Pulsed Light and it’s a technology that’s used to perform various skin treatments including photorejuvenation. It will help to clear up brown spots or “age spots” caused by sun damage and old age and also helps to stimulate the production of collagen, which plumps up the skin to give you a fresher, healthier skin. It’s great for tightening large pores and also helps with wrinkles. It’s like an-all in one treatment and so far I’m loving it.Although not completely painless, it kinda feels like tiny pins and needles on a sunburn, it’s over within minute, so its totally tolerable. Skin is left a little red for the next few hours, some parts of the face will become a little darker over the next few days, but will start to flake off within 4 days. My skin is already looking so much brighter and even, can’t wait for my text treatment.
