Let’s revisit the 18th century Rococo art movement for a moment with this stunning brocade dress. This trend is still going strong this season and will easily take you straight into summer. It’s an easy way to add both print and texture to an otherwise simple outfit, without having to fuss. You don’t need to be royalty to rock this luxurious trend, but you do have to be careful on what you pair it with, otherwise you run the risk of having it look like a costume. I think the easiest way to not look like you’re playing dress-up, is to take a simple baroque printed dress, like this silver with metallic blue shift H&M dress, and pair it with a neutral. Since this dress is short sleeve (and its still winter), I teamed it up with my new favourite ChicWish furry jacket and added a chunky ankle boot to keep it somewhat edgy.
