Faux Fur Jacket
When you think of a traditional fur coat, your grandma’s vintage, extravagant, glamourous and expensive jacket comes to mind. Or maybe that’s just me? Fur coats have been a controversial topic for decades, as they should be. Not only do they come with a crazy price-tag, making them a sign of wealth, or maybe just keeping up with The Jones, but animals are harmed in the making. Maybe people believe it’s cruel and unfair to danger innocent animals for style. Luckily for us, fashion has come a long way in these past few years, and now allows you to get the look of real fur without the guilt. Faux fur is an excellent alternative for those looking for the same luxe vibes that a fur jacket provides without emptying your bank account. Faux fur has been huge these past few years and I don’t see it going anyway any time soon.
There are a ton of ways to incorporate faux fur into your current wardrobe, but my favourite way is on the tip of a jacket. It instantly adds a real warmth and cozy effect, perfect for those cold, chilly days. Although it may seem a little intimidating or over-the-top at first, but it’s an amazing way to add visual interest to any look. Whether you’re looking for a classic wool coat or a utility jacket, or a trendier and street-style oversized jacket, adding a touch of faux fur is a sure way to make a statement. Its an extremely versatile way to up your coat game this season.
