Since I don’t have a green thumb, I relay on floral dresses to get my flower fix. Whether it’s a floral printed dress or a dainty floral top, there is always opportunity to add a little “flower power” into your life. Although one might think this print is best suited in hot, sunny, summer months, I couldn’t disagree more. In the cold, harsh dead of winter is when you need a little bright and cheerful print and there’s something about a floral print that just makes me happy. No need to put away those floral dresses, simply pair it with a cozy chunky knit sweater, a faux leather bomber or even a distressed denim jacket to help add a little warmth to your look. As the weather drops even further, toss on a pair of thick tights, over the knee boots and you’re ready to take on the snow. Do you dare to wear florals in the fall?
Floral prints are an excellent way to add a touch of femininity to any style and will continue to be a popular and trendy print as the seasons go on. A large graphic floral print can make a huge statement, whereas a slightly smaller, daintier pattern can be quite classic. Either way, a floral print is a must-have in any girly closet, as it helps to add the finishing touches on any look. Although this Chicwish dress is sleeveless, the slightly longer hem and the thicker material is perfect for crisp fall days. It also helps that the bold and bright pink, teal and blue is grounded by a solid black background, giving it a much more fall appropriate feel.
