I keep falling victim to the chambray shirt, I have 5 of them now and yet I feel the need to buy more! It looks like denim, feels like cotton, and hangs like linen, probably one of the most soft and cozy piece of clothing I own. I do believe everyone needs one, you can spice it up with florals and neon or keep it classic with a white tee. By adding trend pieces to it, you can turn a yet otherwise pretty plain shirt into a fashion forward outfit.
You can pair it with darker denim, for the classic Canadian Tuxedo, wear it over your favourite summer dress and tie it at the waist, pair it with a white tee and some coloured bottoms like I’ve done in today’s daily style or button it up and tuck into a pleated skirt, either way you wear it, it will become a staple in your closet having you reaching for it time and time again.
