As much as I love the convenience of a cleansing facial wipe, they often irritate and dry out my skin. When Kaia Naturals, an indie eco-beauty brand, reached out to me asking if I’d like to test out their facial cleansing cloths, I was a little hesitant at first. After doing a little research on the brand and finding out their 100% cruelty-free, non-toxic and award winning, I thought, “what do I have to lose?”
When first looking at the Kaia Naturals Juicy Bamboo Natural Facial Cleansing Cloths packaging, you may be a little confused, it’s designed to look like a real juice box with built-in straw sticking out. It’s too stinkin’ cute, insert photo-op. Not only are these adorable to look at, their actually perfect for the busy and active girl on the go. Each cloth is soaked with beneficial vitamins (B12, C and E) and natural cleansing oils to help cleanse the skin, while providing nourishing moisture. These are the first cloths on the market to be infused with a moisturizing medley of organic honey, jojoba oil, sunflower oil, along with 8 citrus essential oils to help nourish from the outside in. It’s suitable for all skin types, even those with sensitive or dry skin, like myself, and is 100% biodegradable.
Although the Kaia Naturals Juicy Bamboo Natural Facial Cleansing Cloths are a tad smaller than other cleansing wipes I’ve tried in the past, it’s incredibly thick texture is extremely strong and durable and does a wonderful job at cleansing the skin without ripping or tearing. It quickly and effectively cleanses my skin of makeup, dirt, oil and daily grime, although not quite tough enough to remove full coverage foundation, waterproof mascara or long-lasting eyeliner. It’s all natural formula ensures me it’s safe enough to use daily without irritating my delicate eye area. It’s so much more than just your traditional makeup remover, it actually helps to add moisture and hydration back into dry skin. It’s incredibly soft as cashmere bamboo fibers never irritate, feel starchy, or strip my skin of its natural oils. My skin never feels tight or dry after using, nor does it leave behind greasy or oily film. It has a lovely fruity scent that leaves my skin feeling healthy with a radiant, glowing finish.
