It’s refreshing to see Canadian brands, like Lise Watier, make the cut. I’m sure it’s a huge honour when a brand wins, so Lise Waiter must be thrilled to see not 1, but 6 awards this year. An award-winning product can take your basic beauty routine and take it to the next level. Today I wanted to share why these 6 products are loved by Canadian women.

First up, Lise Watier Magnifix Make-Up Fixative with White Tea. We all know the importance of protecting our skin from the harmful effects of the sun, but we often skip facial sunscreen because of its thick, white and goopy formula. Lise Watier Sun Smart Universal UV Shield SPF 30 features an incredibly lightweight, soft, silky and smooth texture that absorbs into the skin within seconds. It provides a velvety-soft finish with no oily or greasy residue left behind. It penetrates deep down into the skin to provide all day hydration. Its breathable formula makes it the perfect daytime sunscreen. You’re able to apply your makeup directly overtop without the fear of it balling up or separating. Added bonus, no white-cast. It retails for $39.

It’s no surprise that Lise Watier Ombre Soufflé Supreme won for best eyeshadow, it’s one of my favourite formulas. It features anti-aging ingredients and is enhanced with the power of concentrated Labrador tea extract to give it a silky-soft, almost air-whipped, creamy texture. Its thin, mousy, highly pigmented consistency provides medium to full coverage in a swipe or two. It’s blendable, with only your fingertip, stays put for the entire day (when paired with a primer) and delivers a completely flawless finish. Everything you’re looking for in an eyeshadow. Shade Sunrise Peach is a beautiful, inversely, eye-flattery, peachy pink. It retails for $26.

Lise Watier Havana Bronzing Powder is ideal for those looking for a healthy summer complexion all year round. It features a creamy, soft formula, with just the right amount of shimmer. The formula applies and blends into the skin effortlessly, with a completely natural finish. It has little to no fall out, even though it does contain quite a bit of shimmer. It stays put throughout the day without fading and it doesn’t emphasize imperfections or settle into fine lines or pores. Thie bronzer instantly creates a light, golden, radiant, sun-kiss glow. It gives luminosity to the cheeks without looking over-the-top. It retails for $33.

This is actually my first time experimenting with Lise Watier Blush-On Powder. I now want to get my hands on the other 6 shades.  It features an extremely long-wearing, highly pigmented formula that provides a stunning pop of colour to your cheeks. Its bold, intense colour payoff is fade, smudge and budget-proof for the entire day. Its buttery soft consistency applies to the skin seamlessly for a completely weightless and natural finish. You can effortlessly create both daytime and evening looks by building up the intensity without the fear of it looking cakey or heavy. Libertine is a stunning dusty rosy-pink that will look flattering on all complexions. It retails for $29.

 

Another favourite, Lise Watier Rouge Fondant Suprême Lipsticks. Each shade is infused with Labrador tea extract, a powerful antioxidant. This helps to keep your lips hydrated and comfortable throughout the day. It has a soft and creamy texture that glides across the lips with ease. Once applied, it feels more like a moisturizing lip balm than an actual lipstick. It provides a sheer, slightly translucent wash of colour, but can easily be built up for stronger colour payoff.
