The Cut at Sears Canada
If there’s one thing I’ve come to love over this past year, it’s the bomber. It’s the easiest way to up-date any look and can effortlessly take your outfit from day to night. Already own skinny jeans and a basic tee, toss on a chic bomber, and you instantly have a trendier, more visually appealing look. It’s the perfect balance between runway, street-style and real life. Another thing I’ve come to appreciate is mixing high-end pieces with more affordable clothing items. It’s a sure way to achieve that extreme runway look, but suitable for everyday life.
There’s no specific rule on how you can style a bomber, just pick a shade you’re drawn to. Pale and blush pinks are the hottest shades for summer, so this Romeo & Juliet Flower Embroidered Jacket is an excellent find. It’s part of The Cut at Sears Canada Collection, think designer prices for less, and it’s only $29.97 (compared at $175). Its silky, yet breathable material, can instantly be dressed up for evening, or paired down on the weekend with a basic tee, denim and kicks.
Mixing essentials, like this pima cotton tee, with trendier, fast-fashion pieces is where it’s at this season. I took this $10 tee and paired it with a designer bomber, jeans and pumps, for a fresh off the runway look for less. Sears Canada has quickly become my go-to store of choice when I’m looking for designer pieces at a fraction of the price.
