L’Oreal Magic Nude Liquid Powder Foundation

L’Oreal Magic Nude Liquid Powder Foundation

L’Oreal Magic Nude Liquid Powder Foundation will create the perfect un-makeup look, thanks to its revolutionary liquid formula that transforms on contact to a soft powder like finish. It glides on and transforms to a fresh, powder-like finish that’s so amazingly lightweight, it’s like wearing no makeup at all.

L’Oreal Magic Nude Liquid Powder is housed in a frosted ombre glass bottle with a purple twist off cap. It contains Octinoxate Sunscreen with SPF 18, which I love on the days I forget to wear sunscreen, cause 18 is better than nothing. Unlike other liquid foundations that usually have a thicker, creamy texture to it, this one is truly a liquid. It has a thin, lightweight, almost runny texture to it that applies almost slippery/ slick to the skin. It provides a light to medium coverage that is easily buildable and creates a smooth, silky, matte finish to the skin. It provides a streak free finish and melded into the skin almost immediately. It lasts for about 7 hours before my skin started to look a little shiny around my T-Zone, but could be easily fixed by adding a touch of powder.

As far as the application goes for the
L’Oreal Magic Nude Liquid Powder Foundation, the instructions advise you to shake well, then just pour a few drops onto your fingers and apply directly to your skin. If you’re one for using a brush or sponge to apply your foundation, this might be a little tricky for you, as it’s recommended not to use either. You are going to want to hold your finger over the opening tightly and tilt it to release some of the product onto your finger, since its so thin and liquidy, it comes out pretty fast and is hard to control the amount of product you’re getting out of the bottle, so be careful. When applying it with your fingers you really get a feel for the product and can feel as it transforms from a liquid to a powdery finish on the skin, very soft and smooth. Since its so messy using my fingers I did switch and started to use a foundation brush and ended up with the same results as using my fingers. I can totally understand not using a sponge though, as the product is so liquidy the sponge would just soak up all the product and you’ll end up wasting most of it.

I love that you can apply a thin layer to help even out skin tone during the day or build it up to become a medium to full coverage for going out at night. No matter how much product I apply, it never leaves my skin feeling cakey or dry. After applying the foundation it really doesn’t look like anything is on my skin, but I can see the difference in my overall complexion, it’s like “magic”. The only thing I would change about this is I wish it came with a pump, since it’s so liquidy, pretty much like applying water to your fingers and face, it can be a tad messy. L’Oreal Magic Nude Liquid Powder is available is 12 shades, and all tend to run a little darker, and retail for $16.99 for 0.91oz.
