SMIRNOFF Sorbet Light

SMIRNOFF Sorbet Light

They say you gain the most weight in the winter months, but for me it’s the total opposite; I go to one too many BBQ’s and have one too many cocktails on the patio. For those that know me, know I can’t get enough of SMIRNOFF Vodka, maybe it’s the part Russian in me, maybe it reminds me of being a teenager (my first drink was vodka and O.J), or maybe it’s just the fact it taste so darn yummy; there’s a reason why it’s the best-selling vodka in the world, either way, it’s my drink of choice.

While I normally gravitate to SMIRNOFF Vanilla and cream soda in the summer, my drink of choice this season has been the new SMIRNOFF Sorbet Light which contains only 78 calories per 1.5 oz (about 25% less than a traditional vodka), which just means you have more room for food. It begins with SMIRNOFF Vodka, which is triple distilled for exceptional smoothness and ten times filtered in a unique process for supreme clarity. I’ve tried pretty much all the vodka’s out there, and while I do have a few other favourites, I keep coming back to SMIRNOFF cause of its smooth taste. SMIRNOFF Sorbet Light is then infused with natural flavoring of fresh-tasting berries, luscious mangos, tart pomegranates, juicy passion fruits and zesty lemons, putting a totally different spin on the flavored vodka category.

I know this post doesn’t have to do with fashion or beauty, but I had to share this yummy new cocktail that’s on the market; with 3 different flavors to choose from, one of which you’ll have to get at the US boarder, you’ll be sure to find one you love. I’ve now tried all 3 and really can’t pick a favourite, they all have their own unique taste that are super refreshing in these hot, hot months.

SMIRNOFF Sorbet Light Raspberry Pomegranate has a strong red berry scent to it when you first take off the cap. It tastes like ripe red raspberry balanced with just the right amount of pomegranate. It delivers a refreshing and somewhat tartness to the overall taste.

SMIRNOFF Sorbet Light Mango Passion Fruit has a sweet mango aroma to it when first opened and, surprise, surprise, tastes like mango with hints of passion fruit and orange with a hint of tartness.

SMIRNOFF Sorbet Light Lemon (found at the US boarder) has a mild citrus scent to it with a light lemon flavor and a cool, refreshing tartness to it.

Take a look at these cute goodies SMIRNOFF sent me, the nail polish has been my favourite colour this summer and lasts a good week on my nails, I wish I could find more colours in stores. Both lip balms are highly moisturizing and creamy, they hydrate my lips leaving them soft and supple. They smell and taste amazing, I find myself re-applying them even when I don’t need to. And let’s not forget about the sunnies, how cute are they?
