L’Oreal Paris Colour Riche Gold Dust collection provides full coverage, shimmery, 3-D flare and texture with a Parisian flare to your nails. Its formula is a sandy textured polish that dries to a matte finish with a luminous, opaque finish in 9 beautiful, haute couture shades. These multi-hued polishes have gold, silver and colored sparkles throughout them to create a sultry and incandescent look to the nails.
L’Oreal Paris Colour Riche Gold Dust comes in a rectangular glass bottle with a round gold cap and has a flat, thin and very long brush. It has a thick, creamy texture that glides on smoothly, even though it has a texture to it and covers the entire nail in 2 easy swipes. Like all textured nail polishes, these are meant to be worn without a top coat to get the full rough finish effect. They have a ton of shimmer and glitter that’s dense, highly pigmented and completely opaque in 2 coats. It’s quick drying and lasts a solid 5 to 7 days on the nails without fading or chipping. Since it does have a texture with large amounts of shimmer and glitter, it can come as a problem taking it off, nothing that a little pure acetone and patience won’t take care of.
L’Oreal Paris Colour Riche Gold Dust Too Dimensional? Is a stunning amethyst, slightly grey purple with an insane amount of large gold shimmer throughout it.
L’Oreal Paris Colour Riche Gold Dust Rough Around the Edges is a unique black with silver sparkles throughout it and reminds me a lot of asphalt, just wish it smelt like asphalt, am I the only one that loves the smell of freshly laid tar?
L’Oreal Paris Colour Riche Gold Dust Diamond in the Rough is a light purple with tiny light purple and silver shimmer throughout it, giving your nails that perfect monochromatic textured look.
L’Oreal Paris Colour Riche Gold Dust Hidden Gem is a blackened turquoise with teal shimmer and silver sequin glitter throughout it. This shade it totally unique, when the light hits it correctly you see rich shades of blues and purples although it looks more turquoise in the bottle.
L’Oreal Paris Colour Riche Gold Dust Pop the Bubbles was the shade I was drawn to first, although not as unique as the other shades, it’s the perfect aqua shade if you ask me? I love that it’s monochromatic in the fact it has tiny aqua shimmer with just the hint of silver glitter throughout it.
L’Oreal Paris Colour Riche Gold Dust Pop the Bubbles and Diamond in the Rough
If you like sparkly textured polishes, I think there are at least a few must-haves in this L’Oreal Paris Colour Riche Gold Dust collection. The fact that the bottles are square, makes for easy storing and takes up less space, why don’t all bottles come like this? Because of the wider brush, I did find it to be a challenge to apply the polish to my tiny pinky without hitting skin, then again, I’m not that good at painting my nails, so I bet most people won’t have a problem? I love that’s is quick drying and lasts a solid week on my nails. I’m a huge fan of these texture polishes and happy to see a drugstore version of the higher end brands with so many unique and fun colours. These retail for only $6.99 each.
