Gap Denim Jacket
If there’s one thing this fashion blog has taught me, is that you can never go wrong with denim. It can literary take you from day to night and work to play. It will always be in style and goes with everything in your wardrobe. As much as I love all my denim jackets, I could never really style any of them in the winter. Most of them are incredibly lightweight and wouldn’t keep me warm on cold, winter days.
Everyone needs a good denim jacket. It’s been popular since the mid-70’s and it’s not going away. It’s a stylish way to give a fresh new look to any outfit. I love that a denim jacket can really tone down a dressy outfit to make it more weekend appropriate. It’s an effortless cool way to add chicness and flair to even the most basic outfit. Just like your beloved faux leather bomber or boyfriend blazer, a denim jacket will be in your collection for years to come.
A well-fitted denim jacket can go with literally everything you own in your closet. You can easily create a cool casual vibe for daytime, but can be dressed up with a fancy floral dress for evening. Have fun playing with prints, patterns and textures. It can easily balance out a super trendy look or amp up a basic tee and black jeans like I did today. A classic Canadian tuxedo, yet in different washes, is an effortlessly chic way to create an outfit without trying too hard. For all your die-hard black enthusiastic, adding a denim jacket to your all black outfit, instantly helps to balance an otherwise simple outfit.
Another thing you need in your closet this spring, is an over-size watch. There’s something incredibly chic, playful and timeless about it. This new Thomas Sabo Rebel Spirit Watch is actually a part of their new Men’s Spirit Collection, but I’m obsessed with the chunky and masculine feel it gives my dainty wrist. The stainless steel two-toned coloured mesh bracelet gives it a super trendy and sporty feel, while still being elegant and chic. The silver and blue is the perfect combination for giving this watch a girly, yet manly style.
