What an amazing way to spend a Saturday afternoon, not only did I get the chance to hang out with my good friend Kristin, but I got to attend IMATS in Toronto and have a street style photo shoot with the oh so talented photographer Jenna Marie Wakani from Refinery 29. For the photo shoot I got the chance to wear the new Manitobah Mukluks Kanada Mukluk which is all hand beaded, aboriginal designs and 100% Canadian made. Now I thought I wore “comfy walking shoes” as I knew we were going to be walking the streets of Toronto (a total of over 10km), that was until I put on these mukluks, what a different. Not only do they keep your feet and legs super warm, they have so much padding at the bottom that it feels like you’re walking on hair. It also made me look “less crazy” wearing a dress with no tights on a pretty chilly afternoon. A homeless person actually yelled at me and said “summer is over”, I just thought the dress would really showcase the mukluks better in the pictures?

You can always spot out a non-Torontonian. It’s about survival here, hun. Not fashion.
Hehe, which it why I love London, we drive everywhere, no standing outside in the cold!
