Sparks Alive 

The hubby and I don’t need a certain day of the year to celebrate our love for each another. We celebrated this year with a post Valentine’s dinner. The fact that it was -42 out on Saturday, you usually always get awful service, combine with being rushed in and out of the restaurants, is just a few of the reasons why we stayed in. Of course, Derek kept the sparks alive with a lovely goodie basket filled with some of my favourite things; treats, a few gift cards and lots and lots of new cosmetics. He sure knows the way to this gal’s heart. Just because Valentine’s Day was over, doesn’t mean I could wear something festive. I just love red and pink together, add in a little gold and you have the perfect outfit.
