Feels like a new home

Although Derek went to a super bowl party, I opted to stay home and redecorate the home. We may have done a little shopping over the weekend, okay and lot, and I spend the entire evening finding new homes for everything. We’ve been in our home 7 years now and it was time to toss everything and start from scratch. It’s amazing how much your style changes over the years and how quickly you become sick of things. Although we switch up our knick knacks and colour scheme seasonally, we haven’t really bought new furniture since we built in 2008. Happy to report, we have a new kitchen, dining-room, living-room and family room. Still a lot to put together and organize, but we’re getting there. Next step…. the master bedroom and loft.
