You don’t have to be a basketball fan to know who The Harlem Globetrotters are. They’ve been around for as long as I can remember. Always rocking their red, white and blue striped shorts and matching blue basketball jersey, you can’t miss them. If you’ve caught them on TV, I’m sure you’re familiar with the team’s signature song, a whistled version of the iconic “Sweet Georgia Brown” hit. Even though they don’t play in the NBA, the team is still extremely popular thanks to their athletic skills, theater performance and humorous comedy skits.
The team doesn’t participate in serious competitive basketball games, instead they show-off their basketball skills with humor acting. The Harlem Globetrotters’ show is incredibly interactive, and the entire team knows how to captivate a crowd. This Saturday, April 13th, 2019 at 2PM the team is coming to the Budweiser Gardens in London, Ontario.
