Spring/ Summer Collections

As much as I was hoping to stay way this season, I somehow ended up attending World MasterCard Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2015 Collections day 2. I first attended a Minnie Mouse presentation where Mercedes-Benz Start Up program finalists designed custom creations inspired by international style icon and modern muse, Minnie Mouse. All 6 designs were on display and guests got to witness the winner being announced. Each guest also received their own set of Minnie ears and were encouraged to take pictures throughout the evening and share on social media. I also got to attend the Mélissa Nepton show again this season. Her creations are always beautiful and this season she was inspired by the 1920’s with a chic and sporty collection that’s perfect for a woman with a strong attitude. The highlight of fashion week for me, is always Target and this season it didn’t disappoint. The show featured highlights of their winter 2014 and needless to say, I wanted each and every piece. It wouldn’t be fashion week without heading backstage to see what Maybelline, Redken and Essie were up too. Like always, its complete madness, but everyone always seems to stay cool and professional.
