Best Sneakers For Travel

If there’s one thing traveling has taught me, is that comfy shoes are key. I used to be that girl walking around the busy streets in high heels, but now I’m all about comfort. Sure 4-inch pumps make your legs look longer and leaner, and look amazing in photos, but you can’t walk around in them for more than a few hours. If you plan on exploring the city you’re visiting, walking shoes are extremely important. When I’m looking for support, durability, function and style, I tend to reach for my Skechers.

Kicks need to be the correct fit, otherwise you just end up in as much pain as if you were wearing those dreadful heels. As much as I love shopping online, I tend to head to my closest mall when I’m in need of a new pair of shoes. Just like finding that perfect pair of jeans or form-fitting dress, you may need to try on a few pairs of sneakers before you find a favourite. SoftMoc carries one of the largest selections of Skechers and is just one of the reasons why I shop there when looking for comfy walking shoes.

If you plan on doing a lot of sight-seeing, a high-quality sneaker, with solid support, will be your BFF. I’m in the middle of planning a trip to California, where I know I’m going to be doing a lot of walking, so last week I went on the hunt for a cute pair of Skechers. I plan on “hiking” up to as close as I can to the Hollywood sign and the last thing I want is a rolled or twisted ankle. That being said, I don’t want to sacrifice style, which is why I went with these Skechers MODA CLEAN STREET kicks. Let’s be honest, I was drawn to pink suede heel, but it was its Rise Fit Technology cushioned comfort insole that had me sold. The hidden 1-inch wedge heel is an added bonus, and leaves you feeling like you’re walking on a cloud. The rubber outsole traction will be perfect for walking around the streets of LA, but can also take me hiking.

If you’re doing more outdoor and adventurous activities and fear the leather might get a tad dirty, I highly suggest reaching for these Skechers BOLD MOVE white and grey lace-up sneakers. Its unique mesh design is lightweight, yet durable, and its weightless fabric is extremely breathable…. perfect for all climates and temperatures.

Don’t let these laces fool ya, these new Skechers YOU INSPIRE sneakers are actually slip-ons. These were my initial choice when shopping, due to the sleekness and easy on/easy off design. They’ll go with every single item in your suitcase and will transition beautifully from day to night.

If you’re looking to add a little more class and chicness to your look, these Skechers CLEO SINCERE would be perfect. These black ballerina flats could easily be dressed up in the evening, without sacrificing comfort.
