I feel like I finally have my breakouts under control. After years of suffering from constant blemishes, I feel like I’m finally taking back my skin. Skin is looking better and better each and every single day. Maybe it’s the fact I went vegetarian or maybe I have less stress in my life? Is it because I cut down on my skin care routine and started using pure and simple ingredients? I also started washing my makeup brushes more regularly and cleaning them more thoroughly. Either way, my skin is thanking me. I’ve introduced the new Tria Positively Clear 3-Step Acne Skincare Solution into my routine and already noticed a huge improvement. My skin is not only healthier and clearer, I’ve actually experienced less breakouts and overall improvement to my skin’s appearance. Forget acne treatment creams, pick up this blue-light.

Although effective, blue-light therapy at your local dermatologist office can be quite expensive. Considering you generally need several treatments to see full results its sometimes not always an option. The fact that it’s non-abrasive and extremely gentle is why so many people with acne opt for this treatment. The UV-light doesn’t cause persistence dryness or irritation, nor does it require any downtime, unlike other acne treatments. The blue light helps to kill acne-causing bacteria, which can cause inflammation, resulting in breakouts. Using a blue light, combined with the added heat, can kill and eliminate the bacteria found in the oil glans, without affecting the surrounding tissue. The result is less oil in the skin and less bacteria growing can lead to less problem areas. Nothing but clear, smooth, healthier skin.

The new Tria Positively Clear Acne Clearing Blue Light is an at-home, dermatologist-tested, FDA approved acne-fighting blue light device. It helps to clear up and prevent future breakouts. It combines bacteria-fighting blue light therapy to treat and effectively clear up breakouts. Compared to traditional treatments used on their own, its highyly effective. Although suggested using both the laser, cleanser and spot treatment together, I find the device on its own just effective. I paired it with my favourite cleanser and the results are just as good.

Using the Tria Positively Clear Acne Clearing Blue Light couldn’t be easier. You first start with clean, dry skin. Whether you decide to cleanse with the Foam Cleanser or your own cleanser, just make sure your skin is clear. Dirt, oil or makeup can interfere with the device. I’ve actually used the Tria cleanser a handful of times and it’s really nice. It’s a foam cleanser that comes to a rich and creamy bubby consistency with an intoxicating scent. It instantly rinses away all daily grime and leaves your skin feeling refreshed and ready to take on the day.

Before starting with your blue-light, you’ll want to make sure it’s fully charged. It comes with a power supply and USB cable for easy charging, no more fussing with batteries. It also comes with treatment guides, basically round stickers you place around the area you want to treat. I actually found these kind of annoying and wasteful. I was easily able to focus on the areas I wanted to target without these, but it’s your call.

Simply turn device on and place treatment tip against area you want to treat. It will immediately light-up and you’ll hear fan running while it’s emitting the blue light. It’s important to keep the device moving, do not allow it to sit in one spot for too long. Slow continuous, even movement is what you’re looking for. Continue gliding the device across your treatment area for a minimum of 5 minutes. You’ll hear a charm light sound when the 5 minutes is up. Its now time to lift off the skin and  move on to the second area.

Things to remember, always keep your Tria Positively Clear Acne Clearing Blue Light moving. Don’t be alarmed if you feel a little heat, this is normal. If you lift the device off your skin, it will automatically turn off and stop emitting blue light. Do not treat the same area of the skin more than once a day. Be sure to use it daily (once every 24 hours) for best results. You can continue to use it for as long as you see visible blemishes. You should start to see results in as little as a few weeks.

Your final step is to apply a small amount of the Positively Clear Spot Treatment to your trouble areas. Its formulated to go hand in hand with the blue light. I have yet to try this, as I want to see what the blue light could do on its own.

Tria Positively Clear Acne Clearing Blue Light is a smaller than one found at your dermatologist office. It will take longer to treat a certain area than a professional blue-light. That being said, the fact I can treat from home is amazing. No more squeezing in appointments into my busy days. The hand-held device is easy to use from the comfort of my own home. Another bonus, it doesn’t dry my skin out like other treatments. For someone who already suffers from dry skin I find a lot of acne treatments too drying. They tend to cause my skin to be even more dehydrated and parched. Not the case with this blue-light device. I started to see immediate results after only a few short sessions. I saw glowing, flawless-looking skin in as little as 10 days. It couldn’t be easier, just cleanse, treat and target.

I’m excited to see what the next few weeks bring. The entire Tria Positively Clear 3-Step Acne Skincare Solution Kit retails for $199.
