So many of you have emailed be about doing a fake eye lash review, and although I considered doing one, I remember all the trouble it takes the apply them (even after several attempts) it’s never perfect, the total cost & you can’t forget all that extra time it takes to apply (which if you’re anything like me you’re in the bathroom too long as it is every morning, without adding another 10 minutes to your routine)?
Okay so I bought Caryl Baker Lash Extender (which cost $37.50) but time you buy fake lashes & the glue it’s about the same price. It comes in a tube that looks like mascara, but it’s really tiny fibres (like lashes in a bottle) in the tube. I thought it’s pretty cool?
To start all I had to do was apply a coat of my normal mascara, then quickly apply the lash extenders with the wand that comes in the bottle. I then took an extra few seconds to tap on the top of my eyelashes to get rid of any extra fibres (if you add too much). Then all you have to do is add another coat of mascara & presto it’s like it’s like adding hundreds of tiny lash hairs to your eyelashes instantly. This took about an extra minute total compared to just applying mascara (way shorter than gluing on fake lashes).
I think the fibres added thickness to my natural lashes, more than just a coat of mascara would do? It’s not as extreme as adding false lashes, but I sometimes think fake lashes is too much for daytime anyways?
What I didn’t like about it:
Throughout the day the fibres began falling off & settling under my eyes, forcing me to always be wiping them off my face & checking in the mirror (I guess it’s better than having fake lashes hanging off half an eye)? I think all you would have to do to correct this matter is re-apply a coat of mascara throughout the day?
Would I use this product again?
Totally, I think it’s going to be an addiction now? It’s hard to tell from the picture but my lashes look thicker, longer & darker which every girl wants!
